Changan E301 concept car

This year, Changan the Chongqing based automaker, that is until recently manufacturing small cars with old japanese design, is ouputing some concept cars, showing that they want to have their own flavor. Because most people say chinese only know copycat, the automaker are improving their ability to design very chinese style cars. But chinese carmaker draw from foreign desing bureau, mostly Italian ones. Each year, we see the chinese carmakers refining their styles. Changan is having a very daring concept car in the name of E301.

We don't think this car can be sold as such ! Okay let's peek into the details : it's more like a buggy than a BMW mini. We are not sure it complies with the security standard of the auto industry. We doubt there is a market anyway. It's not possible to judge the work of the stylist, because the pictures are not detailed enough, usually the concept car exposed are not well finished. With the glass surface on the door, that may be interesting if it is a girl that drives, because it is idellay located to see her legs.

Note that the logo of the car is brand new, in recent years, narly all the chinese carmakers have redesigned their logo, some are ugly others are acceptable, it's a good thing to move away from the copycat logo mostly based on german brands and US brands.

Enters Geely with a Rolls Royce like hum....

Last year, Geely has surprised us with the beautiful gray, Geely GT, but without an engine inside. This year, Geely has painted the same GT in red, see the pictures after the surprising but disappointing Geely GE, which is very very close to a Rolls Royce.

This product is very annoying to us, we thought Geely has moved away from copying, but what we see is just Geely has gone backwards! Okay let's forget this crap car, and look at the Geely GT instead.
